Better known as "the tree of life" the Celtic Oak Tree represents the celts belief that the world is like a great tree, with its roots deep in the earth and the limbs/branches stretch up to the heavens. Trees were the symbol of balance and harmony. The Oak Tree is associated with all positive purposes, strength, fidelity and endurance. It represented may in the Celtic calendar, and was a doorway to the mysteries of the Druids.
