Fine artists and friends Jill Jarom and Bruce Wilson are featured in a 2 person exhibit at the MountainMade Gallery in Thomas, West Virginia for July.
The evolution of their individual works is provocative. The two have collaborated together in a joint show exemplifying the depth of their creative visions. This is not their first collective effort. They have shared resources before to make handmade paper and fibers. Jarom’s work is interactive and includes woven spirit sculptures, handmade journals, bound objects and framed works. Wilson’s botanical art includes a rich collection of handmade papers and natural fibers. Framed works are elegantly matted and framed using conservation glass, protecting each work from UV light.
Jarom lives and works at her home studio in Clarksburg, West Virginia. Wilson lives in Canaan Valley with his wife and photographer Gerri Wilson.
The MountainMade Gallery is open daily: 10am-5pm Sunday-Wednesday and 10am to 7pm Thursday-Saturday.
