Friday evening watch the Fireman’s Parade with fire trucks, floats, antique cars and other participants sure to bring a smile to young and old.

Saturday is filled with activities to get out and see nature: Fall Migration Birds Walk, Fields of Fire—Dolly Sods Tour, Blackwater Falls Bike Ride and other outdoor activities. There will be plenty of good food including the Oktoberfest.

What festival would be complete without music? Octoberfest will feature several bands including The Davisson Brothers. The Purple Fiddle will host Grasstowne, world-class bluegrass band.
