While walking through the Gallery, we saw many wonderful gifts for Father’s Day and have selected four for you to consider.
Is your Dad a builder or a fixer upper? How about Bob Snyder’s wooden tool box? Bob builds primitive reproductions and wood creations carefully working with pine and poplar. These woods were historically used because they are durable and locally available. This box was hand-built, then painted and distressed in a multi-step process to create an antique feel and patina.
Your Father could have his morning coffee in this unique mug. Jughead potter Ed Klimek throws each of his quirky face mugs on the potters wheel before painstakingly molding and carving descriptive faces.
Perhaps your Dad is a Grill Master. Here are two homemade barbeque sauces from Yoder’s Country Kettle he might like to try. One is a rich and tangy barbeque sauce recommended for chicken and other meats. The other sauce is a spicy classic with just enough sweet and a spicy kick. It is good on all meats.
Happy Father’s Day to your Dad and you.
